Inspirational and Practical

There's been plenty of times I've asked myself "what's my purpose and destiny in life?" I'm enjoying life, however over and above being a husband, dad, and employee, what difference can my life make in the lives of others? As you get older, you certainly want your life to positively impact those around you.

The next question though is "how?" How can you discover, and then make your life more purposeful? As the author says, "don't be the person who ends up looking back on your life with regrets." He also says "A life without purpose is powerless."

In one helpful exercise, the author challenges you to write a one-sentence statement of what direction you'd like to go in life. He then systemically goes through an approach to help you get there. He also helps to break down your small and limiting beliefs.
This is no flash in a pan method. The author talks about the time, patience and dedication you'll need to do amazing things. If you want more from your life, this book will help you get there.

Every section of this books rings true for me. I relate to all the fears, mistakes and misguided thinking – thinking that can only be outgrown by living, aging, and making mistakes. If I had it to do over, I would use this book as my roadmap - it's a guide for finding your path, thinking clearly and positively, developing a relationship with learning that will support lifelong success, dealing with obstacles and more. As it is, I will apply the steps detailed in this book to keep me on the path to a more powerful and purposeful life. I recommend this inspiring book to anyone whose mind is open to behaving in new ways for the sake of happiness and fulfilment. The author has a calming and convincing style. This is a great book.
